Welcome to AmEz Events. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at amezevents.com and your initial engagement with our event planning services. Please read them carefully. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive any right that cannot lawfully be waived under New Jersey law.
By accessing or using our website, submitting an inquiry, or otherwise engaging with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Our website and inquiry process are intended for users who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and able to enter into legally binding agreements. If you are using the website on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
AmEz Events provides event planning, design, styling, and coordination services for celebrations including birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, graduation parties, office parties, gender reveals, proposal setups, and welcome-home events. The website serves as an introduction to our work and a way to begin a conversation about your event. Photographs and descriptions on the website are representative examples of past work, not a guarantee of any specific result.
Submitting an inquiry through our website is not a booking and does not create a contract between us. A booking is only confirmed when both parties have signed a separate written service agreement and the required retainer has been received.
That separate agreement — not these Terms — governs the specific scope, pricing, timeline, deliverables, and cancellation rules of your event. If there is any conflict between these Terms and your signed service agreement, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.
Once a booking is confirmed under a signed service agreement:
Nothing in this section limits any right you may have under New Jersey law, including any non-waivable consumer protections.
Cancellation and rescheduling are governed primarily by your signed service agreement. We will always work with you in good faith to accommodate a reschedule when possible.
If a cancellation or rescheduling fee in a signed agreement is unenforceable as a matter of New Jersey law, that specific provision will be limited or modified only to the extent necessary to comply with the law, and the rest of the agreement will remain in effect.
We may photograph or briefly video the events we design and use those images in our portfolio, website, social media, and printed materials. Use of event photography is also addressed in our Privacy Policy.
If you do not want your event used for any promotional purpose, please notify us in writing prior to the event date, and we will honor that request.
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, design concepts, mood boards, and the overall look and feel — is owned by AmEz Events or used with permission, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
You may view and share this content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, scrape, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Custom designs, mood boards, and layouts created for your event remain our intellectual property unless transferred in writing in your service agreement.
When you submit an inquiry or other information through our website, you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right to provide it (including any information about co-hosts or guests). You grant us a limited right to use that information for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
In producing your event, we coordinate with independent third parties such as caterers, florists, bakers, photographers, rental providers, and venues. While we choose partners carefully, those vendors are independent businesses and not our employees or agents.
We are not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, products, or services of third-party vendors. Disputes regarding goods or services provided by a third party should be addressed directly with that vendor, although we will assist where reasonable.
We work hard to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide the website on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and except for any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be disclaimed under New Jersey law, we disclaim all implied warranties relating to the website and its content, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable New Jersey law:
Nothing in this section limits liability for: (i) gross negligence or willful misconduct; (ii) personal injury caused by our negligence; (iii) any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited under New Jersey law. Some limitations may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold AmEz Events harmless from third-party claims arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) information you provide to us that is false or that you do not have the right to share, or (c) your violation of law. This obligation does not extend to claims arising from our own gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to any claim that cannot lawfully be subject to indemnification under New Jersey law.
Neither party is liable for delays or failures to perform caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, pandemics or public-health emergencies, acts of government, utility or internet outages, labor disputes, or other unforeseeable events. The affected party will give prompt notice and the parties will work together in good faith on a reasonable alternative.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any legal action relating to these Terms or our website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. This provision does not deprive you of the protection of any non-waivable consumer rights under the laws of the state where you reside.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable under New Jersey law, that provision will be limited or eliminated only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted prominently on this page. Your continued use of the website after changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. Changes will not affect any signed service agreement already in effect unless that agreement says otherwise.
